Disconnect or remove a site
How to disconnect a site from PressConduit, and what removing it actually does.
You can disconnect a site at any time. There are two ways to do it, and they're not quite the same.
Remove it from your dashboard
Go to Sites, find the site, and click Remove. You'll be asked to confirm.
This is the complete option. It unpairs the WordPress plugin entirely, not just this list. The site would have to connect again from scratch if you ever want it back.
Clear the pairing from the plugin
The PressConduit screen in wp-admin can clear the site's local pairing. After that, the site shows a message that the pairing was cleared and asks you to re-pair to get a fresh connector URL. Use this if something got stuck. You can pair again straight away with Connect to Conduit.
Remove the connector from your AI assistant
Removing a site from PressConduit doesn't delete the connector entry inside Claude or ChatGPT. It just stops working. You can delete that entry yourself in the assistant's Connectors settings.
Deactivating or deleting the plugin
If you deactivate the plugin, your dashboard shows that site as Plugin deactivated. Turn it back on and it reports in again. See Site shows "Plugin deactivated".
Coming back later
Nothing is lost by disconnecting. Install the plugin again, click Connect to Conduit, and approve. See Connect your first site.
