Site shows "Plugin deactivated"

What the "Plugin deactivated" label means on your Sites page, and how to get the site back.

On your Sites page, a site can show a Plugin deactivated label. It means PressConduit has been told the plugin on that site is switched off.

Why it happens

Most often someone deactivated the plugin in wp-admin. It can also happen if the plugin was deleted, or if the site was moved or rebuilt without it.

Fix it

  1. Log in to that site's wp-admin.
  2. Go to Plugins and find PressConduit.
  3. If it's there, click Activate. The site should show as connected again.
  4. If it's gone, install it again, open the PressConduit menu, and click Connect to Conduit.

Filtering for these

The status filter on the Sites page can show only disconnected sites, which helps if you look after a lot of them.

Not coming back?

If the plugin is active and the label doesn't clear, open a ticket with the site address.
