Undo and the activity log
How to see what the AI changed on your site, and how to put it back.
Every change the AI makes can be looked at afterward, and most can be reversed.
The activity log
The PressConduit screen in wp-admin keeps an activity log. It lists what your connected AI has done on the site. If you're ever wondering "who changed this?", look there first.
If it says "No activity yet," nothing has connected and used a tool so far.
Undo with snapshots
Before it changes something, PressConduit saves a snapshot of what was there. Snapshots cover page and layout changes, site options, and post meta (the extra fields stored with a post).
To go back, just ask your assistant. Something like:
List the recent snapshots on this site, then restore the one from before you changed the homepage.
The assistant can list snapshots and restore the one you pick.
What snapshots don't cover
Snapshots protect content and settings. They aren't a full copy of your site. For that, use a backup. See Backups.
A good habit
Before a big job, like a migration or a big redesign, take a full backup first. Then ask the AI to go ahead. If it goes sideways, you have two ways back.
