"No Conduit session in this browser"
Why you get this error when adding the connector, and the simple fix.
This error means you added the connector from a different browser than the one where you're logged in to WordPress.
Why it happens
The connection is approved through your browser's login session. When you add the connector in Claude or ChatGPT, that browser has to be the same one where your wp-admin is open and logged in. If it isn't, PressConduit has no session to approve, and you get the error.
The fix
- In the browser you want to use, log in to your site's wp-admin.
- In that same browser, open the PressConduit screen and click Connect to Conduit again if you're asked.
- In that same browser, open Claude or ChatGPT and add the connector URL.
Still failing?
Make sure you're logged in to wp-admin (not just visiting the site), and that a private window or a browser extension isn't blocking cookies. If it keeps happening, open a ticket.
