What PressConduit is
A plain-English look at what PressConduit does, what you need to use it, and what it doesn't do.
PressConduit lets an AI assistant work on your WordPress site for you. You tell Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor what you want in plain English, and PressConduit is the connection that lets the assistant actually do it.
Think of it as a set of keys. Without keys, an AI can talk about your site all day but can't touch it. With PressConduit, you hand it a limited set of keys, and you can watch what it does with them.
What it can do
- Build and edit pages in Divi 4, Divi 5, Bricks and Elementor. It can also convert a Divi 4 page to Divi 5.
- Create and edit posts, pages, menus, media and post meta.
- Manage WooCommerce products, orders, coupons, shipping and stock.
- Read and write SEO titles and descriptions with Rank Math.
- Install, update and remove plugins and themes, manage users, and scan for malware.
What you need
- A WordPress site.
- The PressConduit plugin on that site.
- A PressConduit account. The free plan is enough to start.
- Your own AI assistant that supports MCP connections. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor all do.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't come with an AI. You bring the assistant and the plan you already pay for, and we don't resell AI usage.
It's also not open access to your server. File edits stay inside your theme and plugins, and the AI never gets a shell. What the AI can and can't do covers the details.
