"No Conduit installation found"
What this error means when you connect a site, and the checks that usually fix it.
You'll see this on the connect page:
No Conduit installation found for
https://yoursite.com. Make sure the Conduit plugin is installed, activated, and has been paired with the relay (it does this automatically on activation).
It means PressConduit doesn't know about that site yet. Nothing is broken. The site just hasn't finished pairing.
Fix it, in this order
- Check the plugin is installed and active. In wp-admin, open Plugins and look for PressConduit. If it's not there, install it. If it's there but not active, click Activate.
- Pair the site. Open the PressConduit menu and click Connect to Conduit. If the site isn't paired yet, that button pairs it first.
- Check the site address. PressConduit finds your site by its web address. In Settings, then General, make sure the address matches the one you actually use (for example, with or without
www, andhttpsrather thanhttp). - Check for a firewall. If a security plugin or your host blocks your site from contacting
pressconduit.com, pairing can't finish. Allow it, then try step 2 again.
Still not working?
Open a ticket with your site address, your account email, and a screenshot of the error. Also tell us what version of the plugin you have (it's shown in the PressConduit screen header).
